w3c - Can a CSS pixel be a fraction? -

can css px fraction? allowed standards? , if so, major browsers support it?

let's answers documentation, folks.

yes, can specify fractional pixels. has been part of css since first version, should supported browser supports css @ all.

reference: css 2.1: 4.3.2 lengths

"the format of length value (denoted <length> in specification) <number> (with or without decimal point) followed unit identifier (e.g., px, em, etc.)."

when elements displayed on screen, browsers naturally round position nearest pixel when using 100% zoom level. on higher zoom levels notice fractional pixel values recognized.
