these buttons added extension points me, hide these buttons when "recycle bin" query runs vsts "link work item" button hide. please see attachments.

if use target extension, button list both assigned me , recycle bin.

the open/link work item system button using code hidden when loading query toolbar in recycle bin. more related ui. code not open, it's not able achieve extension. ui related extension, take @ answer in question: how hide quick add panel backlogs items using vsts extension?

you add uservoice here suggest either separate targets in assigned me , recycle bin query tool bar, or provide way hidden button in extension json.
