windows - using tk in ruby 2.4.1 win 7 -


some years ago used ruby tk/tcl lot , loved it. tried install 2.4.1 small projects (in win 7). seems have ruby screwed during last years. win installer asked install "msys something" , lot of other crap result nothing worked. , worst: there seems no date documentation or tutorial how setup plain minimum ruby tk/tcl system under windows , work. so, after rant :-( question: there documented installer out there how setup such system without installing whole linux subsystem on windows machine? want open few windows , place few widgets without complining , linuxing , whatever...
