java - How to get IntelliJ IDEA 2017.2 to offer suggestions on importing the right packages to resolve symbols? -


how intellij idea offer suggestions resolve unresolved symbol visual studio in picture below?

i wanted use aspose cells java in console application, downloaded relevant jar file , added reference so:

file -> project structure -> dependencies tab -> + sign

i not sure why not see library reference in external libraries node of treeview on left side.

anyway, because wasn't sure, added jar files needed newly created folder named lib , added lib folder library so:

now, when type in code, intellisense reports cannot resolve symbol workbook.

so, qualify type workbook full name so:

com.aspose.cells.workbook , symbols resolved. resolve symbols, add import com.aspose.cells.* statement on top , symbols resolved.

i wondering why, visual studio offers suggestion add namespace on top, intellij idea 2017.2 not give me suggestions add relevant import statement don't have type myself or know correct import statement is?

does have such feature? how use feature?

i think need move red line(error line).

press alt+enter, choose import class or(something this);
