special characters - Unable to download files from Jacobi dropbox when file has '&' in title -


i'm attempting download file dropbox university uses assignment submissions. have several files have ampersand (&) in file name. while other files download no problem, when try download these 1 kb file "file" file-type rather pdf of image in question.

the dropbox in question jacobi dropbox run through sycamore campus. seem recall stumbling upon solution months haven't been able find in browser history or google kungfu. need insert special character code & url browser knows i'm downloading file name rather executing & command. tricky bit don't have direct access url filename, generic download link. tried opening source code of course actual source masked, can't @ it.

any suggestions?
