autocomplete - Emacs Key Binding Precedence -


i'm frustrated default behavior of autocomplete overriding key bindings used yasnippets.

is there way set precedence tab try expand snippet before trying autocomplete word?

quick disclosure: i'm using evil-mode.

if they're both minor modes, precedence determined order of elements in minor-mode-map-alist which, unless explicitly manipulated, determined order in libraries loaded.

ensure autocomplete loaded before yasnippet, , yasnippet's minor mode map have precedence.

you use eval-after-load adjust minor-mode-map-alist after loading autocomplete, check yasnippet entry, , re-order list if necessary.

(autocomplete may use other methods, though. temporary overriding keymap still have precedence on minor mode maps, instance.)
