api - Confusion about Foursquare's Attribution & Linking policy: what other ways can I attribute them besides creating a link? -


i see either link them directly or visual attribute them. example: website provides recommendation directly user based on submitted interest, make sure "powered foursquare" shows underneath?

these policies more vague on purpose. rule of thumb: if you're showing data users isn't own, should clear them it's coming from. done data provider gets proper attribution can protect against content being displayed on in app/site.

for foursquare specifically, seems need include "powered foursquare" icon , optionally provide link venue if user may need more information place.
