.htaccess - wordpress: /anytext/ before /categorypage in adressbar possible - how to set a 404? -


i working on website of wife , accidently found out, possible write text in adressbar between domain/ , /category".

example: category-page should visible www.example.com/category instead can call www.example.com/anytextyouwant/category , category-page loads normal, no 404 or redirection.

i dont want behaviour, how solve 404 page or redirection? don't know start. appreciated! thanks.

edit: behaviour not present wordpress-"page"-format, example: example.com/static-page loads, example.com/anytextyouwant/static-page not
