data retrieval - Repairing intel 320 sad with 8mb bug? -


i have drive suffering infamous 8mb bug intel ssds several years back. drive shows 8mb. research, seems though firmware has gone bad. might fixable swapping pcb identical model, since understanding pcbs store firmware in them? @ least files off? other solution take recovery professional, quoted $1300 dollars. can’t afford that, i’m left wiping drive using intels method, wanted know if thought swapping pcb might make readable? have yet try ddrescue, guess won’t help... linux mtd drivers can read flash memory work?
