Jupyterlab will not save my jupyter notebook -

i'm testing out jupyterlab. notice can save notebook , set checkpoint jupyter notebook. can shutdown kernel notebook menu. when reload, notice changes not saved. can load changes going :

file -> revert checkpoint

why doesn't save function work? feature or bug?
